Opioid abuse bill

The United States Senate passed a bill today to combat the opioid abuse issue by an overwhelming majority. Senators from both sides of the aisle got together today in what hopefully will begin to attack the opiate and heroin abuse epidemic that has swept across our country.

The bill will now go to The House of Representatives to make it through Congress.  With overdoses at an all time high our government is looking to get more funding for treatment of this epidemic.

We will continue to update you on the bill and whether it passes after the next vote.  We will also keep you informed as to how this will specifically impact your state.
