Chief Executive Officer
With addiction being among the largest health care problems in America, helping people recover is more than a job. It’s a calling. One Colangelo has lived, 24 hours a day, for nearly three decades. But according to him, it’s also a job with plenty of rewards, since most of those affected with the disease get well. Colangelo has personally helped thousands of people along the path to sobriety since becoming a counselor in 1975. A graduate of Boston University, he received his Master of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his doctorate degree from International College. Colangelo has been at Clearbrook since 1990 after serving as a principal in several recovery centers, and was appointed CEO in 1998.
