Congratulations Hannah!
Clearbrook Treatment Centers is pleased to announce our first annual “Pay It Forward” Academic Scholarship award recipient, for the 2017/18 year. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy over the tremendous number of applicants we have received this year! A total of 235 applicants submitted for this scholarship. As a leader in the treatment for individuals suffering with chemical dependency, we also recognize the value and importance of giving back to the community as a whole. With that said, it has been our honor to “pay it forward” to those looking to further their education, and in turn create an opportunity for them to continue the cycle.
While every applicant’s educational and career ambitions are truly inspiring, one particular individual’s aspirations of “packing something new into the stream of life,” have made an impression on us that stood above the rest.
Hannah W. of Jefferson City, Missouri, has plans of specializing in Health and Wellness Architecture in hopes of designing and establishing positive living environments for those who have completed drug and alcohol treatment and are in need of an environment that is conducive to recovery. It is because of people like Hannah that thousands of individuals are able to achieve lasting sobriety, change their lives, and change the lives of those around them.
It has truly been an honor to be a part of something greater than ourselves, and give back to the future leaders of this country. We want to take this time to thank everyone who has chosen to participate in our scholarship program, and encourage those who have not received this year’s scholarship to participate in future awards. We wish you the best of luck in your future educational and career endeavors.
