Heroin Treatment Needed | Clearbrook Treatment Centers

On January 19, the largest heroin bust in the city of Hazleton was carried out by local law enforcement.  In total 19,200 individually wrapped bags of heroin, ready for sale, were taken off the street.  Those bags collectively contained more than 8 pounds of heroin. Two men were arrested after a lengthy undercover operation.  It was the new Chief of Police Jerry Speziale’s first major sting as the acting head of the Hazleton police force.

That is a lot of heroin for such a small city.  You never know how many lives were saved because of overdoses.  Every day in America hundreds of people try heroin for the first time.  Many say that after the first time the addiction is so strong that quitting is impossible without dire consequences.

We have written a lot in the past about the heroin epidemic that is sweeping across our country.  Many people believe that drugs are confined to our major cities like Philadelphia and New York.  That is not the case.  It is in our major metropolises and also in our smallest towns.  It is terrifying that this deadly poison is right here, on a massive scale, in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Hazleton is just 20 miles from Clearbrook Manor.  The people that are using in Luzerne County are the people we want to help get off this deadly drug.  If you are a Luzerne County resident and need a Pennsylvania heroin rehab or detox in PA call us 24/7 on our admissions line.
