The epidemic of heroin addiction is being addressed in a big way at Super Bowl 50. It has taken long enough to get the word out there in the mainstream media about the heroin crisis that is taking control of our country.
On Sunday, at halftime of the Super Bowl, an ad about what heroin is doing to people’s lives is going to air. When we think about the commercials that are on during TV’s most viewed event year after year, we think about beer, cars, and insurance companies.
With the NCADA (National Council Alcohol & Drug Abuse) producing this commercial, millions of Americans will be reminded that there are people out there dying from heroin addiction…and that they need help.
