Clearbrook Treatment Centers’ CEO, Dr. Nicholas Colangelo, offered his assistance and support to a drug and alcohol facility in Palm Beach County, Florida. One of the county’s oldest treatment providers, CARP’s (Comprehensive Alcoholism Rebabilitation Programs, Inc.) primary goal is to offer treatment options to those that would otherwise not be able to afford care.

After closing its doors in 2015, CARP and its board members have worked diligently to purchase new properties and reestablish the organization as a whole. On May 5, 2016, Friends of CARP, board members and the community met to welcome new leadership and introduce plans for new treatment facilities.

“Friends and supporters of West Palm Beach’s longest serving alcohol-rehabilitation program gathered for a reception to celebrate its new leadership.

The event for Comprehensive Alcohol Rehabilitation Program (CARP) took place May 5 at Club Colette.

CARP consultant Dr.Nicholas Colangelo offered an update on the organization’s ongoing revitalization, including the recent acquisition of two properties that will be used separately as 12-step homes for 24 men and 24 women.

Board president Kelly Landers outlined CARP’s future plans and urged the 200 guests to join him in supporting the expansion, both financially and as volunteers.

Guests included members of the board and advisory board, community members and other advocates for affordable addiction treatment.

The event was funded by private donations through The Friends of CARP.”
