Massachusetts Residential Treatment

How To Help Someone In Recovery During the Holidays

Addiction is a chronic disease that can disrupt a person’s life and their relationships with loved ones. Many addicts who attempt to quit using drugs or alcohol on their own often struggle to sustain their sobriety. Professional substance abuse treatment can not only help someone with a dependency safely recover, but it can also teach them the skills they’ll need to sustain their sobriety long-term. At our drug and alcohol treatment center in Massachusetts, we offer a residential treatment program that separates patients from outside distractions to help them focus on their recovery goals.

Our Massachusetts Residential Addiction Treatment Program

Clearbrook Treatment Centers Massachusetts is an inpatient addiction treatment center that is designed to help addicts heal from their substance abuse disorder. Our residential treatment program is specifically geared towards patients who require 24-hour supervision and care in order to prevent relapse or any other issues relating to their addiction treatment. Patients in our residential addiction treatment are removed from the everyday triggers that may exist in their daily environment back home. With medical supervision and round-the-clock care provided by our trained and licensed staff, patients will be able to focus on their medically monitored detox and substance-specific treatment without enduring any temptations that may otherwise exist back home.

What Happens in Residential Addiction Treatment?

While completing one of our addiction treatment programs, patients will have the opportunity to escape the stressors of their everyday lives and enjoy the support and peace offered by our team. During our residential rehab program, patients will receive constant support from our team members who are experts in their assigned fields.

Our 28-day residential treatment for addiction is divided into two phases. Before beginning any form of addiction treatment, patients will undergo a detox treatment. During detox, medical supervision is provided to manage the patient’s withdrawal symptoms and prevent any physical complications from occurring. Detox also flushes any leftover toxins from the patient’s body, allowing them to begin the next phase of their treatment with a clean slate.

After detox, patients will then begin residential substance abuse treatment. This program focuses on treating drug and alcohol addiction as chronic diseases and addresses each aspect of a substance abuse disorder in detail. For many people, overcoming an addiction is difficult when they’re constantly surrounded by people, places, and things that provoke the urge to use. Our residential treatment program offers a safe haven where patients can remove themselves from these harmful distractions and stay focused on getting better.

In addition to medically supervised detox, our residential drug and alcohol treatment program also incorporates a variety of therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and motivational interviewing in order to address the mental and emotional aspects of addiction. These programs utilize individual and group therapy sessions to allow patients to grow independently and foster a community of support with others who are in a similar position. In addition to individual and group therapy sessions, patients will also be required to participate in addiction education, discussions, and daily Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
